Canadian government rolled out a one-time payment of $500 for eligible low-income families. The eligibility of application is as below:

— Net income in 2021 is less than $20,000 for single family or $35,000 for married couples;
— Age is over 15 years old by Dec. 1, 2022;
— Amount of rent paid in 2022 is at least 30% of annual income.

Please be aware that international students, work permit holders, even some visitors could apply for this benefit.
